Add a little character to your valentine treats with this sweet yet simple idea! Using plain vanilla cupcakes with red frosting, I added some little flags for some Valentine flair. I used toothpicks and added the black with white polka dots 7gypsies paper tape to the toothpicks then cut off the edges to create the triangle/flag shape. Stick one in each cupcake. To compliment the flags I decided to use the same tape to create a mini banner. Fold a small piece of tape in half and cut off the edges to create the triangle. Use a small hole punch and punch two holes in each triangle. Thread some Cherry Bakers Twine through the triangles to create the banner.
