Strike a Pose Wall Hanging Project
By Sarah Meehan
Begin by painting two 4" x 8" natural canvases (5CV-70466) with white acrylic paint. Once dry, stamp canvases with Honeycomb (C8478) and Collage Cube (C8418) in red acrylic paint. Repeat until desired look is achieved. After the acrylic paint has dried, distress canvases with Distress Ink in Peeled Paint, Fired Brick and Black Soot. Cut six images from Flirt Collage Sheet (5ARFLIRT). Use Cut-N-Dry Brush Tip Nibs (5RI-CND14737) and Distress Ink to add color to the images from the collage sheets. Using Brass Dog Tags (5AT-23803) as a template, cut the images from the collage sheet to fit onto the tags (make sure to poke a hole in each image to expose the hole in the dog tag). Glue the images to the tags and let dry. Once dry, cover the tags with Glossy Accents (5DP-GAC17042). While the tags are drying, attach the canvases together using the screws included in the package. After the tags have dried, tie them onto the canvases using red and white Scrapper's Floss . Try creating a custom piece of art using family photos!
