Spring Cards Project by Cheryl Husmann
Create some spring-inspired cards with these inspirational cards by artist Cheryl Husmann. These cards are delightful and sure to brighten up someone’s day if they have a little “cabin fever” after a long winter.
Card 1:
This card features the clearly impressed French Phrases stamps. Stamp the French phrases of your choice onto some colorful cardstock, using black ink and the acrylic blocks. Stamp a decorative flower design on the corners of the card, and then layer your favorite patterned paper and collage images on the cards, adding some handmade flower embellishments if desired. Cut out the stamped French words, and glue those onto the card in a random fashion.
Card 2:
This card features an Angela Cartwright transparency. This particular transparency is no longer available, but there are other lovely transparency designs that we still have left in stock.
Using black StazOn Ink stamp the flower design directly onto the transparency, and stamp the same design onto a piece of patterned paper. Layer the transparency onto the paper and cut out the two pieces to the same size. Layer and glue the pieces onto a piece of white cardstock, and then glue onto a brown card background. Stamp the same flower design onto a piece of torn script and the glue onto the front. To ensure the layered pieces stay together you can secure them with brads.
