Room to Bloom Project
Start by painting the paper mache house with blue acrylic paint. Take a strip of punchinella and use it as a stencil by laying it flat on the panel (doing a small section at a time) and painting a yellow coat over it. Peel the punchinella back to reveal a very cool stenciled image of the punchinella.
Stamp the various Claudine Hellmuth foam stamp designs along the three panels using Claudine Hellmuth Studio white acrylic paint. Allow to dry. Using red and green inks stamp over the foam stamp designs, layering the images for a very cool effect.
Add random pieces of vintage text here and there, on the edges of centers of the flowers or even the petals. Using the paints in the studio kits, do some small dots on the flowers to add some interest. The nibs of the little bottles in the kit are perfect for doing that - no brush is necessary!
Along the top edges (roof) of the house, paint a red scalloped edge using the Claudine Hellmuth Studio Dash of Red paint and once dried, do a small white border using the white bottle from the studio kit. Finally, add some small strips of washi tape as desired, I chose a red patterned tape the ties in with the red paint.
