Queen Marie Project
Start with a paper mache book. Paint the cover, bind and inside with white acrylic paint. While the paint is still slightly wet use some tape adhesive to glue a piece of scrap paper onto the front of the book. After a few hours peel the scrap piece of paper off. This should give the cover a "peeled paint" look.
Paint the three outside edges with a light brown acrylic paint. Use a light brown ink pad to lightly ink the edges of the book and the six lines on the binding.
Tear the pink paper with the circle pattern from the Modern Romance kit and glue to the front of the book. Add the blue tag from the modern romance kit to the middle of the circle.
Cut out the Marie image from the cover of the Marie Antoinette paper doll book. At the bottom of her skirt use a wide piece of pink lace. Gather it and attach to underneath the skirt using glue dots. Glue the Marie image onto the front with pop dots to give it dimension. Spray the outside and the inside very lightly with Red Velvet Glimmer Mist.
Carefully cut out the Marie doll and outfits with a Kushgrip snip scissors. Inside the book add some shredded paper or as an alternative some fabric so you can store your delicate paper dolls!
