PB & J Sandwich Bags Project

In addition to the personalized place cards that were created for our Summer Celebrations' feature, Vanessa thought it would be fun to create some customized sandwich bags to go along with them! Peanut butter and jelly is usually a fan favorite, but feel free to create a label to suit any kind of sandwich that you want to serve. Start by stamping the PB & J image onto plain white paper, using the scratch alphabet stamps and brown ink. For the ampersand symbol (&), I used the Cavallini & Co. numbers and symbols stamp set. Cut out the white piece of stamped paper and matte it onto a piece of blue cardstock. Next, stick the labels onto the front of the natural wax bags.
Place the sandwiches in each bag, and seal the bags closed with a piece of patterned fabric tape. Write each of the guests' names onto blue tickets and then staple the tickets onto the customized wax sandwich bags with the mini attacher. People always "eat with their eyes" first, so your guests will be excited to see how much care went into their personalized, sandwich packages! And just like their place cards, they can keep the bag as a souvenir to remember the special occasion.
