Memory Gift Tin Project
This is a great gift idea for any family member or friend, giving them a pre-made memory album is a really meaningful gift! Begin by covering the ATC collector’s tin with paper from the Wonder Years collection. A good strong glue for this is the Claudine Hellmuth Studio medium.
Cut out the banner image from the paper in the Wonder Years collectionand distress the edges lightly with black ink. Glue the banner to the outside of the tin. Glue a small piece of vintage text to the top of the tin.
To assemble the ATC book that goes inside the tin, begin by cutting down various pieces of Wonder Years papers to ATC size. Arrange the pages so that you are alternating paper and the cards that come inside the ATC tin. Once you have them arranged you can bind the book together using the Bind-it-All tool with the black owires.
Using a Character Constructions stamp I stamped the phrase "childhood is the most beautiful of all life’s seasons" onto the front page. I also used the same stamp on one of the inside pages and added some faux stitching around it with the rub-on tape runner. I then stamped some of the inside pages with another Character Constructions stamp that has an alphabet stamp.
Print out small black and white pictures, and glue them onto various pages, then use rub-on tapes around the edges of the pictures. Cut out coordinating crowns from the ARTchix Studio Party Crown collage sheet and attach to the pictures for a fun and quirky look.
