Inspired by a lovely necklace that artist Jen Cushman made for me at the Winter 2012 CHA, I decided to try creating my own necklace using the staple bezels and Art Mechanic supplies.
Begin by using the template to cut out a section of patterned paper from the flip book to fit the rectangle staple bezel. Tear or cut two pieces of mica to approximately the same size as the bezel. Sandwich the patterned paper inside the two pieces of mica and then place in the bezel. Using jewelry pliers, secure the claws on the front and back of the bezel.
Take a piece of white ribbon and thread through the pendant and tie a small knot above the loop. Wire wrap some 22 gauge silver wire around the knot. Tie two more knots on each side of the ribbon and again wire wrap some silver wire around each knot. Secure the two ends of the ribbon.
Attach a couple of Vintage Groove findings to the bottom loop of the staple bezel.
