Begin by painting the two canvases with Gesso to prime them. Once the gesso has dried, paint both canvases with red acrylic paint and allow to dry. Use collage pauge to glue a few scrap pieces of torn vintage sheet music to the canvases. Choose your favorite Fanciful Stencils and place them onto the canvases and spray with Glimmer Mist and allow to dry. Mix a very small amount of yellow acrylic paint with gel medium and paint over each canvas. I did this to reduce how bright the red was. Fill a bingo dauber with blue acrylic paint and dab randomly around the canvases. Once the blue paint has dried you can use the In Flight acrylic stamps and stamp the butterfly design onto one canvas and the text “in flight” onto the other using white acrylic paint. Wash off your acrylic stamps as soon as you are done stamping to avoid the paint drying on the stamps. Hang or display your canvases in your home or office!
