Home Sweet Home Baggy Book Project
Similar to our previous baggy book project, this book shows you how to turn color paper bags into a mini book. Only difference is that this project uses slightly bigger bags, so you can make a bigger book. Start by choosing your favorite colored 12" x 15" bags. For my book, I decided to use three different colors of bags (red, teal and white) to blend with the colors of the papers I used from the Vintage Collage Stack.
Fold all the bags in half and arrange in order, then tie a piece of ribbon or twine around the center to bind the book. Cut out papers you are using from the Vintage Collage Stackand attach to the pages as desired with the exception of the front cover; don't add the house picture just yet.
Using a circle stencil and gesso, paint the circle designs onto the pages and then set aside to dry. Attach white washi tape and various decorative washi tapes to the pages to accent and tie in the colors some more.
Glue the home sweet home patterned paper on to the front of the book. On the inside pages create photo mats for pictures you will be adding. Trying using colored cardstock that blends with colors that are on the patterned papers you used. Add black photo corners and white cardstock and attach to the coordinating colored cardstock.
Bind your book with a piece of white seam binding ribbon. Add your favorite pictures to the pages; for the pockets, you can add additional pictures and personal ephemera.
