Days of the Week Magnetic Board Project
Our metal chalkboard is magnetic, which means it’s perfect for new magnetic poetry by Kelly Rae Roberts. I decided to alter my chalkboard a little to add a little whimsy.
Using various colors of Liquitex acrylic paint, I painted some fun borders around the main border and a blue scallop edge along the bottom of the compartments.
If you feel like it needs a little extra something around the edges, layer a few styles of washi tape to create a fun effect.
Using the pink chalk marker, drawer seven rows, or alternatively a 7 x 4 grid and write the days of the week along the top of the top row.
Use some of your favorite black and white family photographs, along with the Kelly Rae Roberts magnets and use your board to communicate (creatively) with your loved ones every week. Write down important events, and fun messages that can be combined with the magnets.
