Creatively Stamped Art Papers Project
Creating your own artistic art papers is easy, and you really only need a few supplies. I used a color wash spray by Ranger Ink (coming soon to The Shoppe at Somerset!) and stamps from the Carved by Hand collection by Colette Copeland.
Simply spray old book text paper with the green spray. Ink up your stamp heavily with brown StazOn ink, and stamp the image in the center of the page. Next, ink this same stamp lightly and stamp the image on a scrap piece of paper to blot. After removing the excess ink, stamp the image around the center of the original, darker stamped image. The aim is to get the images around the edges to be lighter than the center image. Repeat the same step a few times for each artist paper.
Use the finished papers for card making, mixed-media projects and more!
