Colorful Canvases with Cling Mount Stamps Project by Dina Wakley

Guest Artist and Stamp designer Dina Wakley created these colorful mixed-media canvases using her new Cling Mount stamps and a mixture of painting, gluing, layering the different elements.

Colorful Canvases Project Instructions

You can prime your canvas with gesso if necessary.

Using your favorite colors of acrylic paint, paint your background as desired. Once dry, stamp directly onto the canvas. You can also stamp on paper first, cut the images out, and glue them on the canvas.

Add layers to the pieces by incorporating book text images, stamping with found objects, or painting shapes and designs by hand.
