Botanical Book Box Project
Book boxes are great for storing all sorts of odds and ends and they are also great for creatively packaging a gift. I altered my book box and then decided to add some basic stamping supplies bundled up inside as a creating stamping kit for an artistic friend.
Begin by painting the entire box with Aged Gold acrylic paint. and allow to dry. Cut out the green bird design from the Botanicabella paper kit, cutting it to size to fit the front of the book. Glue it to the front of the box using Eco Green Matte Medium. Then using the same medium, paint over the entire book box to seal and protect the paint and paper from wear and tear.
Once the box has dried fill the inside with excelsior. Add some coordinating papers from the Botanicabella kit a rubber stamp and ink pad and bundle those all up with some twine. Place the bundle inside the kit.
