Altered Clothespins Gift Package Project
Pretty clothespins sets make lovely gifts. Clothespins can be used for securing all sorts of bags or packages, hanging pennants on banners, displaying pictures, as magnets or pushpins and much more. Altering them is super easy with pretty papers and some adhesive.
I used the Jacobean clothespins because I like the dark brown distressed finish. I cut out some strips of patterned papers form the London Market collection and glued the strips onto the clothespins using collage pauge.
Embellish the front of the clothespins to add a little interest. I used some Melissa Frances key holes and some wood embellishments.
Gather an assortment of the clothespins and a small bundle of brown divine twine inside a plastic sleeve. Add a small card at the top of the package using other papers from the London Market collection.
