Pretty Pinwheel Boxes Project

Perfect for a party or any celebration, these pretty little boxes have a little whimsical flair. Start by painting each box with white gesso and allow to dry. Punch out some pinwheels using the Jenni Bowlin pinwheel punch and colorful (double-sided) paper. Tear some small square shaped pieces of ephemera.
Attach a fastener through the center of each brad. If you use a retractable pick, it makes it much easier to poke the fastener through. Push the fastener through the torn pieces of ephemera as well.
Wrap some colorful bakers twine around each box, and then secure the pinwheel pieces on top with a small glue dot or temporary adhesive. Fill the boxes with sweet treats and mini gifts.
