I’m constantly inspired by all the beautiful “Project Life” style pages that I come across online when I’m blog hopping or browsing through Instagram and Twitter. The concept is genius and so, so simple. As a full-time working mother, any shortcuts to make crafting a little easier are welcomed. I decided to use some of my favorite Cavallini papers and some kraft colored cardstock as the backgrounds in the pockets. I like the uniqueness of the three and four pocket pages; just my personal preference. The cool thing with the three pocket pages is that you can stitch down the middle and turn it into a six pocket page. You can actually do this with any of the pages to create unique pockets.

First cut down all the cardstock and patterned bird paper to size. Add some random strips of white washi tape and patterned washi tapes as desired to the kraft cardstock pieces. I also added some stitching to the kraft cardstock here and there.

Print out your favorite pictures in either color or black and white, and mount the pictures on the kraft cardstock. Journal on the cardstock pieces as desired. Place your pages in a simple three ring binder, or alternatively use binding rinds and create your own artistic cover!
