The Stampmaker Kit will really change the way you create. You can create your own custom stamps using personal photographs, illustrations, ephemera and much more. Remember to watch all the FREE how-to videos, read the instructions carefully, and you will be on your way to creating personal stamps and projects like this one!
Using the new Teresa Collins Stampmaker, I made my own custom stamps for this project. I first scanned French ephemera and saved the image files to my computer. Using the software and instructions from the Stampmaker Kit, I printed my images onto the film and created my two stamps by following the step-by-step instructions within the kit.
To create my cards I simply stamped my image onto pieces of Botanical patterned paper and vintage French ephemera using a burgundy colored ink. Layering other pieces of the Botanical patterned paper, I then stamped images onto plain white cards. If you want the pieces of paper and ephemera to pop you can lightly ink the edges of the papers. Embellish with simple strips of peach-colored paper tape. Using a burgundy floss (available soon at The Shoppe at Somerset!) tie pieces around the cards as desired, and attach one white button to each card.
Using the other stamp I created, I stamped the back of the envelopes to add some interest. You may also finish it with some more of the peach-colored paper tape.
