Sometimes less is more. We have a wonderful selection of altered jar projects in the studio, but jars are projects that we never seem to grow tired of! Dressing them up is a fun, yet inexpensive way to create gifts and the many different versions are always inspiring for added touches to your home décor. For this version, you only need a handful of supplies. Be sure to save those glass jars instead of tossing them in the recycling bin. I keep all of mine and save them for projects because it’s always good to have a stash ready!
Begin by cutting out the yellow patterned paper from the blissful collection. Cut to size accordingly for the jars you are altering. Use a strong adhesive tape, and add a generous amount to the back of the paper. Carefully wrap the paper around the outside of the jar.
Next, take a piece of clipper grey seam binding ribbon and wrap it around the jar, carefully tying a neat bow to secure it. Fill the jar with your favorite flowers.
