There’s nothing better than a delicious fall recipe to get you harvest ready and cozy for the season. Follow along with Shoppe Manager Vanessa Spencer as she gives tips on how to package these lovely pumpkin muffins for family and friends:
As I was flipping through the pages of the Spring 2011 issue of Where Women Cook, Sarabeth Levine's pumpkin muffin recipe immediately caught my eye. I'm no expert in the kitchen, so this simple recipe appealed to my taste and includes some of my favorite fall flavors like pumpkin spice.
The ingredients list is fairly simple: pastry flour, raisins, pumpkin puree and cinnamon to name a few. I don’t bake often — but I whipped up two batches in no time —so they’re a great option for beginner or advanced bakers.
Once the muffins were cooked, I added some natural packaging. I cut small squares of wax paper and wrapped the pieces around each muffin and then simply secured it with a piece of natural hemp cord.
Place your wrapped pumpkin muffins in a basket lined with a larger piece of wax paper and add these to your feast this Thanksgiving.
