Ephemera Pots Project
I'm always on the lookout for new and creative ways to display memories. I have a lot of creative project ideas for these pots, so stay tuned to the Studio for even more inspiring ideas coming your way very soon. Meanwhile, grab your favorite bits and pieces from your everyday travels and artistically store them with this delightful project.
Start by decoupaging torn pieces of the map paper from the London Market Collection onto the Paper mache pots using a matte medium. Allow them to dry.
Paint the inside of the pot and the top rim with an acrylic paint that coordinates with the patterned paper, I used Stick Candy Green. While the paint is drying, you can create your pot labels with the SMASH label maker and then attach the labels to each pot.
For the notes I used the ledger papers that I tore out of the Old School Ledger book. You can jot down mini notes and memories from places you have been, or create to-do lists. Fill the other pots with pictures, mini maps, ephemera and anything inspiring from your travels.
