“A whole new world of artistic expression opened up for me the moment I discovered the magazine collage work of Kelly Kilmer (kellykilmer.blogspot.com). Before seeing her work, I didn’t feel comfortable drawing anything in my journals, especially faces and figures. At the same time, I knew there was so much opportunity to express the true me in my journal. Being able to use images and words from magazines to tell my stories has been completely freeing for me in so many ways. I have every type of mood or emotion I want to portray waiting right there for me, and all that I have to do is open a magazine!”

  1. Diane,
You were one of the first mixed media artists I watched, just want to say thank you, and please keep the videos coming. Happy crafting,
