"Scents" You've Been So Kind: A Sampler
I have a lot of friends who dabble in a number of hobbies. A lot of time they dip their toes into something, realize it’s not for them, and move on to the next thing. While that keeps things exciting, it can be a little bit of a cost investment. Why would anyone want to buy a ton of supplies for a hobby that may not ultimately be something they truly enjoy?
And then you have me. I have all of the supplies for all of the hobbies, and I’m always happy to share. I recently had a friend mention she was curious about making her own bath and body products. I know how much of an investment that can be at first, so I thought I’d surprise her with a little sampler of dried ingredients. If anything, I was hoping she’d see the cute presentation and get inspired by it. She had also done something nice for me, so it served as a thank you gift as well.
I scooped a bit of several different ingredients into tiny glassine envelopes, which I sealed with a strip of washi tape. Then, I computer-generated labels, and adhered them to the bottom-right of the envelopes. I tucked the little envelopes into a small kraft box, tied it with a strip of fabric, and added a computer-generated label that read “Scents You’ve Been so Kind.” Who doesn’t enjoy a good pun?
