Apothecary Bottles Display Project

These amber bottles are great for filling with homemade scents and beauty products, but they’re also perfect for creating home décor projects.

Shoppe Manager Vanessa Spencer uses the Apothecary Labels (1EC-APOTHLABELS) from e-crafting.com to embellish the 4 oz Amber Bottles. Size the ephemera labels to approximately 1-1/2 x 2-1/2," and print them onto white printer paper. Cut out the images, and use Collage Pauge to glue them onto the front of the bottles. Add a thin layer of Collage Pauge over the top of the label to seal it.

Once the labels have dried, use a sanding block to distress the labels and give them a vintage appearance. Fill each bottle with your favorite small flowers - baby’s breath always looks lovely.

Stain a mini wood crate and allow it to dry completely. Once it has dried, fill the bottom of the crate with excelsior of a small wood block and add the bottles to the crate.

Use the display as décor in a bathroom, a powder room, or anywhere inspiring.
