9am - 5pm PST, Mon. - Fri.
On a nice spring day, there’s nothing I enjoy more than a leisurely walk around my neighborhood. The sun is shining, there are signs of nature waking from its wintertime slumber, and the air feels clean. I love wandering around and taking note of all the things I may have not noticed before. One of my favorite ways to do this is to go on one of the photo scavenger hunts that is published in each issue of Field Guide to Everyday Magic. Each one supplies a number of prompts of things to take pictures of, and when you get home, you print the photos out and glue them to the page.
Never one to leave things alone, I also decided to “dress up” my finished scavenger hunt with just a few simple supplies. First, I stamped a scallop trim around both pages. If you don’t have a scallop stamp, you could just draw one. I also used a little bit of torn washi tape on each photo. To finish, I added a few doodles with a white gel pen. I can’t wait to do another one of these photo scavenger hunts!
