Who Am I Project by Finnabair
Artist Anna Dabrowska, also known as Finnabair, is well-known for her intricate and artistic mixed-media journal pages, collages, and altered art. In this Who Am I project, she adds lovely rich colors and accents to a self-portrait image in order to create a memory page that's ripe with emotion.
?To create a similar journal or memory page, use the kraft colored pages in Anna’s Prima Marketing Sunrise Sunset Journal as your canvas. To add layers and depth to the pages try using a kraft colored or off white cardstock. Before adding pictures and embellishments, spray your cardstock with a blue spray ink, try using Dylusions Ink Spray - Calypso Teal or Adirondack Color Wash – Stream.
Distress the edges of the papers with a Paper Distresser then glue and stitch the cardstock papers and picture to the journal pages. You can add additional color like Anna’s gold accents by using gold embossing powder or ink.
Embellish the pages as you like using various accents. For a look that is similar to Anna’s, use the SMASH label maker to print out small text, decorative rub-ons, zig zag stitching, and some interesting buttons.
