No reviews yet

Create this quick and easy project to provide a little bit of Halloween spookiness to your décor. Using Tim Holtz paper and embellishments, these spools can be used as placecards, photo holders, and more.

Spooky Altered Spools Project Instructions:

To start, paint a wooden spool with acrylic or spray paint, or leave its natural wood color.

Measure strips of patterned paper from Tim Holtz's Regions Beyond Paper Stash and Enchanted Collection to fit around the spool. Wrap the paper around the spool, and hold in place with tape or strong-hold glue. You can also use vintage book text for added contrast.

Adorn each spool with assorted stickers featured in the Enchanted Collection paper pad. Use strong hold glue to hold in place.

Embellish each spool with Tim Holtz Fanciful Accoutrements.
