Regal Bottled Wishes Necklace
There are a few symbols that I always come back to in my artwork. Umbrellas — a reminder that sheltering yourself from the rain is just as important as dancing in it (metaphorically speaking of course) — adorable girls in frilly dresses, books, and crowns. There is something about crowns that I always seem to come back to, whether it is the regality of the symbol, or the self-indulgence of it that I enjoy so much. For this necklace, I poured plenty of glitter and glam into the bottle and topped it with a regal crown to remind myself that I can make a wish and be queen of my own creative castle.
Regal Bottled Wishes Necklace Directions:
Fill mini bottle with Finnabair’s Art Ingredients Glass Glitters in Copper and Gold Rush. Add a few rhinestones if desired. I salvaged my rhinestones from a belt clasp that was falling apart.
Attach crown charm with the included jumpring to a chain. Glue crown to top of bottle with strong adhesive, like E6000.
Attach a Tim Holtz Small Talk Sticker to the bottom of the bottle with strong adhesive.
