Looking for a way to spice up your wrapping paper this holiday season? These handmade paper rosettes are perfect for adding extra visual interest to your packaging. Adorn your packages with these versatile embellishments and create a gift topper that can be repurposed as an ornament when they’ve finished unwrapping their gift.
Pretty Holiday Packaging using Paper Rosettes Project Directions:
Using Kaisercraft’s Home for Christmas Paper Pad, create an assortment of paper rosettes.
To make a rosette, accordion fold a piece of paper. The width of the paper will be the same as the width of the finished rosette. Wrap twine around the middle and knot. Then, spread and arrange the pleats evenly and attach the first pleat to the last pleat with glue.
Layer each rosette with die-cut elements from the same paper pad.
Fill box and packages with goodies, then wrap box with kraft paper and gold twine.
Wrap gold twine about polka dot goodie bags.
Attach Tim Holtz Christmastime Flashcards to bags, and then add rosette.
