A great way to "green" craft and repurpose old jars is by transforming them into storage and decorative containers! I tend to create a lot of projects with old jars, but they are simply so easy to work with and can fit any budget because they are very inexpensive.
I started this project by gluing the tissue paper straight onto the glass jars with eco-friendly matte medium. Tear up large pieces of the tissue paper, and simply glue them on. Once the entire jar is covered, gently paint over the tissue paper to help seal it to the glass. Allow all of the jars to dry.
Cut out some patriotic images from the Celebrate America Collage Pack. You can either glue them onto the jars or secure them by wrapping some red scrapper's floss around the image on the jars. If you don't glue the images on, you can remove them once the holiday is over, and use the jars for everyday storage or décor!
