Lace Stationery Bundle Project
This project originally appeared in Take Ten Winter 2018.
This lovely gift bundle is created with just a few blank kraft cards and envelopes, a white inkpad, and some inked lace ribbon. If you are need of a thoughtful token of your appreciation, this gift idea is easily replicated in 10 minutes or less and it’s very creative too. To go a step further, you could even place these lovely stationery bundles in a gift basket with the recipient’s favorite snack, bottle of wine, bath items, and any other little surprises to give him or her a lift!
Lace Stationery Bundle Project Directions:
Kraft Cards:
Using a white inkpad, stamp sentiment from Dina Wakley stamp set on card and decorate with a flower stamp from Christine Adolph’s Fresh Flowers Elements stamp set.
Note: If you don’t have a white inkpad, you can also use a brayer to spread a thin layer of white acrylic paint onto your stamps.
Adhere lace to kraft cards with strong adhesive.
For the envelopes, use a white gel pen to add address lines, then stamp along the side with a coordinating stamp.
Shabby Chic Cards:
Cut a piece of Artist Paper and fold in half to form a card.
Stamp Dina Wakley heart onto ledger paper or similar page from Artist Paper pack. Cut out and adhere to center of card.
Stamp Bonjour from Cavallini & Co. stamp set just below the heart.
Glue down lace along spine of card.
For the envelopes, tear two pieces of Artist Paper and adhere to one corner, then rule the address field with a brown marker and stamp with a sentiment in the other corner.
