From The Coloring Studio Card Project
Hop on the coloring craze bandwagon and create a set of whimsical cards using pages from The Coloring Studio, highlighted with Big Brush Pens, or choose from an assortment of our coloring tools to create your own unique set of cards. Illustration by Leslie Sabella from The Coloring Studio.
From The Coloring Studio Card Project Directions:
Staple a sheet of vintage book text to the center of the card. Staple to attach.
Add a light layer of gesso over the book text.
While the gesso dries, color in an assortment of feathers from the pages of The Coloring Studio using Big Brush Pens. Cut out feathers.
Cut scraps of colored burlap slightly smaller than then the book text. Use gel medium or glue dots to attach the burlap to the background.
Wrap feathers and card with twine.
Attach the feathers with glue dots.
Stamp sentiments onto card.
Add patterned tape for an extra pop of color.
