Watch as Kristen Robinson creates a delightful mixed-media collage tag with a bit of paint, paper, and fabric.
Techniques Featured in this Video:
To start, collage scraps of ephemera, such as vintage wallpaper, sheet music, and ledger paper, onto a white tag. Use a brayer to remove any air bubbles.
Next, randomly stamp text with Distress Ink.
Use your finger to apply acrylic paint through a scrap of punchinella, and to add dabs of additional paint to the tag.
Thread a button through a scrap of lace. Knot to hold in place. Glue to tag.
Stamp word using permanent black ink.
Outline the painted circles with a black ink.
