Green Craft Magazine
Letter From The Editor
Dear friends,
Whenever I work on an issue of GreenCraft, I think of my grandparents. They came from the generation that made do with what they had. My grandpa was especially serious about "making do." He knew how to sew from his time in the army and having grown up on a farm, could fix just about anything. When the pull for their ceiling fan shattered, he cleverly tied an old key to the cord. When my aunt wanted jean shorts, he surprised her with a pair of old jeans, cut and hemmed into something stylish. From one upcycler to another, I think he'd be delighted by the projects our GreenCraft artists have created and their ability to see the potential in items that would otherwise be discarded.
My best,
Christen
