9am - 5pm PST, Mon. - Fri.
Start by using various colors from the PanPastels set and rubbing them onto the pages of a Moleskine journal using the larger sponge. I chose the red and blue pastels from the Donna Downey No.1 Set.
I tore out some of my favorite pages from old 2012 Papaya Art calendars, leaving the edges rough. I found some coordinating patterned papers and kraft tissue paper, and glued down layers of the papers onto the journal pages. If you’re using a liquid adhesive, just allow the adhesive to dry before moving on.
Add random strips of various washi tapes to accent the pages. Journal various words or quotes using a black gel pen or a pen of your choice. I went with the “miracle” theme, since I featured a piece of the Papaya Art calendar page that had the word miracle on it.
Using the Papaya old calendar pages is a great way to repurpose the previous year’s calendar. If you don’t have a Papaya 2012 calendar, you can get one in our warehouse sale. Also, don’t miss our brand-new Papaya Art calendars for inspiration all year round!
