Altered Apple Baskets Project

Some of my favorite things to store everyday items in and alter are apple baskets. They come in various sizes and can hold a generous amount of things from apples to cookies or craft supplies to utensils and napkins! You can find apple baskets at most large discount craft stores.
Begin by painting the outside of the basket with white acrylic paint, and allow to dry. Around the outside there is typically a middle band of wood. Above and underneath this section, attach the yellow checkered fabric tape. Use a piece of the clipper grey seam binding to wrap around the middle, and then tie a nice, neat bow.
Create as many baskets as needed, and fill them with utensils and napkins for a buffet-style dinner!
