“Lately I can’t seem to get enough of all the colorful sari ribbons available. What a beautiful way to recycle and reuse! Looking to design a necklace and bracelet combo, I paired the ribbon with polymer clay. This design combination continues to appear in my work lately. Guess you could say I love it! The ribbon adds a softness and feminine quality to clay pieces that other components lack when used alone.

Living in the southwestern desert, we enjoy some of the most beautiful skies in the land. Breathtaking sunsets produce colors of azure, gold, tangerine, and purple. Its appearance was a striking dusty blue, almost monochromatic. And peering out of my ribbon stash was a subdued bluish-purplish sari ribbon. I was so pleased with the design results, that I immediately added earrings to the group.”
