Roses are red, violets are blue, these gift bags are sweet, and can be created by you! Whip up these treat bags for a classroom valentines exchange, bring them to brunch for your closest girlfriends, or tuck one into your daughter’s backpack for a sweet Valentine’s surprise.
Just promise you won’t eat all of the treats while assembling these little pieces of eye-candy art!
If you are making them for a group of friends or a classroom full of kiddos, consider inviting a friend over and putting together an assembly line to maximize time.
Perfectly Grungy Heart Pouches
Acrylic Paints (in White, Raspberry, and Tidepool)
Teeny Alpha Stickers (in Rose Grunge)
Treats of your preference!
1) Start by brushing a light layer of white paint onto the front of the bag. No need to make it a perfect square–the shabbier chic, the better.
2) Stamp the foam heart in the center of the bag. Layer the “Create with Abandon” and “Grungy Circle” stamp designs to create your desired pattern
3) Use Teeny Alpha Stickers to adhere message to bag.
4) Fill pouches with fun treats like pink and white jelly beans, conversation hearts, ring pops, and candy necklaces!
We all go weak in the knees for these heartfelt projects, so we put together a special Valentine’s Day Anthology filled with projects, products and inspiration to spark creativity for this romantic day!
