Every year, with spring’s arrival comes the appearance of shower invitations in my mailbox. Weddings and babies … there is always plenty to celebrate this time of year. I always find myself volunteering to help with whatever the celebration may be and am often asked to take care of the favors. My favorite type of favor is something that feels a little luxurious to receive, so I frequently turn to bath and body recipes. Many of them are easy to put together in an assembly-line fashion, making them quick to produce.

For this particular shower, I placed a few tub teas in a box for each recipient. I was looking for a clever way to package them and saw an idea similar to this on Pinterest. I was pleased to find a Mason jar template on Stampington.com. I printed the template onto different sheets of our artist’s papers, which go through the copier really easily on the bypass setting.

Next, I cut out each template. I wanted to be sure the outline was clear, so I went over it with a permanent marker. Then I glued the jar cutout to the box top, snipped a bit of baby’s breath, and adhered it to the box with a strip of washi tape.

My mind is still reeling with all the ideas I have for other ways to use our templates. I thought our pitcher template could be used with a few fresh flowers tucked inside for a nice springtime celebration. Our party dress could be embellished with buttons and trims for a wedding shower. And, of course, our umbrella template is perfect for any type of shower or sprinkle! There’s no limit to what you can do with these templates.
