Spring is in the air and it’s time to bring out the flower stamps again. When Distress Crayons arrived at our offices, I couldn’t hold myself back from incorporating their bright colors into these tags. This technique uses their water-reactive pigments to create a fun background that can be the basis for an art journal page, gift packaging, and more.
Distress Crayons Techniques Tags Directions:
Lay Marrakech Stencil by Michelle Ward over the whole tag. Using a baby wipe or wet paper towel, swab the inside of each hole in the stencil, removing the pigment from the tag. Switch out your wipe or paper towel when it gets too saturated with pigment and when switching between colors.
Adhere quotes and flowers to the tag. Randomly stamp dots texture.
