FORMER “SOUND OF MUSIC”STAR LENDS IMAGES TO NEW STAMP LINE
Laguna Hills, CA – December 7, 2008 – Actress, artist and photographer Angela Cartwright has released a new stamp line, based on a collection of distinctive shadow photographs, through Stampington & Company. This collection is her second with Stampington & Company, who also produced an exclusive line of artist papers and transparencies from her original photographs.
Angela Cartwright has been a source of inspiration within the world of mixed-media art for over four decades, having been featured in Somerset Studio, Somerset Memories, Life Images, Art Doll Quarterly, Somerset Studio Gallery, Somerset Holidays & Celebrations, Belle Armoire, Somerset Life, Artists' Café, and Transparent Art. She has also authored three books, “In This House: A Collection of Altered Art Imagery & Collage Techniques,” “Mixed Emulsions: Altered Art Techniques for Photographic Imagery” and “In This Garden: Explorations in Mixed-Media Narrative” (available April 2009), along with a collaborative art zine, entitled Pasticcio Quartz, that is released three times per year. Her art has been featured on products by The New York Graphic Society, Artbeats and Thirstystone, and is also on display at her personal studio, A Studio Gallery, located in Studio City, California.
The Unruly Shadows collection features three Clearly Impressed stamp sheets containing a total of 12 shadow images, available in large and small sizes. These self-mounting, clear, photo-polymer stamp sets include 5-12 images per sheet, grouped into festive collections such as “Shadow Emotions” and “Shadow Dancing.”
