STUFFED CREATURES TAKE CENTER-STAGE IN NEW MAGAZINE
Laguna Hills, CA – December 7, 2008 – Since 2003, Stampington & Company has been at the forefront of emerging trends in the world of art and crafting through the top-ranked magazine Art Doll Quarterly. On January 1, 2009, Stampington & Company will release the premier issue of Stuffed: A Gathering of Softies, a new, semi-annual publication focusing on the “softies” trend that is sweeping crafting communities around the globe.
Each 144-page issue of Stuffed will include dozens of handmade soft dolls, ranging from the cute and artistic to whimsical and bizarre. Top softie artists, as well as talented newcomers, will share instructions, tips, musings, and even patterns to give both veteran and inexperienced softie enthusiasts an endless amount of inspiration. Artists featured in the premier issue include Trish Millener, Lisa Thoms and Annie Oakleaves.
