Small Spring Favors

Create miniature Easter baskets as favors or for home décor this spring with these fun idea. Using old egg cartons I cut out the mini baskets then painted them with a green (5EC-01036) acrylic paint and some with pink (5EC-01024). Once the paint has dried punch two small holes in each basket for the wire. Thread the wire (5VN-TSPW10) through the holes on each basket to create the handles. Secure the wire just by wrapping/looping the excess wire around the handle. You may need to use wire cutters (5MA-33810) to snip off any excess wire. On each basket tie a small bow with a piece of seam binding ribbon (5SG-15152) to the top of the handle. Add some decorative excelsior to the baskets and a few Easter eggs in pastel spring shades.
