Weathered Papers from Paper Loft

Give your projects a feeling of weathered tradition with these beautiful 12"x12" papers from The Paper Loft.

Paris Pocket

Cut out the Eiffel Tower portion of a Paris Bendable Art Sticker (5ADP-D204). Attach the sticker to a Small Amber Glass Tag (5SDG-STAMBER - Discontinued). Edge the tag with copper tape to the edges of the tag. Apply flux and solder onto the copper tape. Loop a coordinating ribbon through the tag hole. Apply a teardrop rhinestone from Silver Precious Finds (5EK-SPPF10) to the ribbon. Cut an 8” x 11” rectangular panel from Paper Loft Document Strips Paper (5PL-SC331 - Discontinued). Fold the panel into a Paper Pocket from page 47 of Handcrafted Magazine (1SOM-HC0501) according to the instructions given. Stamp the square text image from Clearly Impressed Writing Set (J6221) with Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad (5TS-BLACK) onto the top panels. Highlight the image with coordinating chalks. Attach four rhinestones from Silver Precious Finds to the top panels. Apply brown chalk to the edges of the pocket. Place a small gift into the pocket. Using Magnetic Stamp Base Set (5MA-23484) and Rummage – Magnetic Stamp Alphabet (5MA-23485), stamp the word Paris repeatedly with Jet Black StazOn ink on a tan ribbon from Making Memories Antique Ribbons (5MA-23192). Wrap the ribbon around the pocket and attach the ends together with double sided adhesive. Attach the prepared tag to the top of the pocket with double-sided tape.

Seaside Pocket

Ink the sand dollar side of a Shore Cliff Cube (C8448) with a Versamark™ Stamp Pad (5TS-VM001). Press Mocha Crème - Paper Perfect - 8oz. (5HE-PP01) into the sand dollar image and let dry. Carefully remove the dried Paper Perfect sand dollar image from the rubberstamp. Using direct-to-paper technique, apply Pearl MicaMagic™ Stamp Pad (5CS-70014 - Discontinued) onto the sand dollar and heat set the ink. Highlight the sand dollar with gray and turquoise chalks. Apply glue to the edges of the sand dollar panel and sprinkle a mixture of turquoise glitter and sand onto the panel, as shown. Set aside the panel to dry. Cut an 8” x 11” rectangular panel from Paper Loft Scratch Alphabet Paper (5PL-SC337 - Discontinued). Fold the panel into a Paper Pocket from page 47 of Handcrafted Magazine (1SOM-HC0501) according to the instructions given. Cut two triangular panels from Gold Fine Weave Magic Mesh (5MM-140060) and from the scraps of the paper used for the pocket into the same dimensions as the top panels. Attach the paper and mesh panels to the pockets top panels. Apply turquoise ink to the edges of the folded pocket. Place a small gift into the pocket. Tie lengths of coordinating ribbon and jute around the pocket. Attach turquoise beads to the ends of the ribbon and jute. Tie raffia around the center of the ribbon. Mount the prepared sand dollar panel to the top of the pocket with foam tape.
