Below are pages from The Stampers' Sampler, February/March 2004.
Great ideas for quick and easy cards that take 10 minutes or less! You'll find 5 pages of our ever-popular Take Ten department in this issue. Simple ways with tulips will have you ready for springtime blooms.
Who can keep from smiling when they see these whimsical flower faces gazing back at them? This delightful collection of stamped cards was designed by Janet Klein using images from Stampotique. Janet began by stamping the large flower girls and then masking them to create the vivid graphic background texture shown on each card. Janet created her own lined borders on the cards using her collection of pens. These sunny little cards make a great gift pack or could be sent to brighten a friend's day.
Kristie Flory's style is simple. Simply elegant, that is. Torn vellum is one of her signature looks and the way she combines it with her other materials is incredibly effective. In fact, torn paper of all kinds adds visual appeal to many of her pieces. And her attention to detail warrants her place as a Stampers' Sampler guest artist. Brads, eyelets, charms, corner punches, wire, fibers, ribbon, and tiny tags are just a few of the supplies Kristie utilizes when she sits down to stamp. As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Kristie has found her calling amongst her fellow stampers. Meet Kristie and find out more about her story on page 33.
Looking for bunnies, eggs, baskets or religious icons? How about tulips? Torn paper techniques? Or Tempting Template Fortune Cookies? Even the file folders from Keeping It Neat can all be found wrapped up in our Classic Sampler section starting on page 42.
