The perfect embellishments for card-making and scrapbooking. Paper flowers can be inked, distressed, embellished and more! Each pack has an assortment of sizes, patterns and shades.
Start with a plain wooden tray. Randomly paint brown acrylic ink all over and then wipe down to get a stained effect look. Adhere a piece of brown patterned paper to the bottom of the tray and then add a few other scraps of paper. Take a blue patterned piece of paper and crumble it up. Unfold and adhere on top of other papers. Take an old vintage book photo page and paint it with pearl acrylic paint. Insert picture of child to the center. Use a hole punch to make punched holes on both sides. Start adding Prima flowers (5PM-516406 and 5PM-516376) randomly in tray. Keep layering until there is some height to them. Mount a piece of box/cardboard or something with depth to the back of the vintage picture frame (I used some empty ribbon spools that were perfect in height). Mount this over the flowers on the left side. Add more flowers from both packs of Prima (5PM-516406 and5PM-516376) to the top of the photo. Then use the Say It With Crystals( 5PM-521936) and put them in the centers of the flowers randomly. Also add a crystal to the bow on the childs pic. Take a scrabble letter holder and paint it with brown acrylic paint and then adhere scrabble letters to spell out 'childhood'. For the little spool: wrap decorative paper around it and use rub-ons to spell out the name 'Emma'. Add a Say it with Crystal (5PM-521936) to the top of the spool cutting out the center piece of the crystal. Take some black wire and wind wire in front and back of Prima flowers (5PM-516406 and 5PM-516376) and then make a long stem to stick into the center of the spool. do this with various flowers (5PM-516406 and 5PM-516376) and even by layering two flowers together to get a multi-colored flower. Add a black twist tie to the right side of the photo frame that says 'a moment in time'. To finish, add coordinating ribbons to the handle.
Begin with a medium sized clay pot, twigs (for the stem) and a Styrofoam ball and cone. Insert Styrofoam cone firmly into the pot. Paint the pot with white acrylic paint (5MA-23751). Once the paint has dried use sandpaper to distress the pot. Using prima flowers (5PM-516369) & (5PM-16314) place them on the ball using a small amount of glue under the petals and small sewing pin in the center of the flowers that will require a button. Arrange them by alternating colors, shades and patterns of the flowers. Glue buttons on as desired and on the other flowers place a decorative pin in the center (5HG-71207) & (5HG-71208). Once the ball is decorated, pierce a small hole in the bottom and place approximately 4 thin twigs inside, the insert the other end of the twigs into the pot. Use some green moss to cover up the Styrofoam. Adhere some black and white family photos to grubby tags (5GG-GRUBTAG-LG). Place some delicate Heidi Swapp crowns (5HS-HS64233) & (5HS-HS64232) in the pictures for decoration. Tie tags to the middle of the stem and arrange as desired.
