Photo Corners

Some things are so wonderful that they never fade away, like photo corners! Used in albums years ago, they still serve the same purpose today in addition to being used in creative ways by artists. They can hold many things besides photos, and make wonderful decorative accents as well. They can be stamped, sponged, painted or embossed. Cut a gingham square panel from Christmas Quilt Paper (5DD-7040) into four squares. Draw letters for a name on the panels using a letter stencil. Using an X-Acto knife, cut out the letters. Attach the panels to black panels. Computer-generate text on a sheet of tan vellum from Neutral Vellum Pack (5DM-PAK05156). Stamp vertically to create a border on both sides of the text. Tear the edges along the borders. Attach the prepared panels to the vellum with Black Photo Corners (4PC005). Copy a black and white photograph onto tan vellum. Attach a red frame from Vintage Paper Frames (5DD-FRAMEPACK - Discontinued) to the photo. Attach the frame and the vellum panel to Floral Antique Paper (5DD-7022 - Discontinued) with Small Antique Brass Flat Top Eyelets (5SDSMFLATAB - Discontinued) as shown. Attach a vellum envelope to the page with Mini Glue Dots (5JV-MINI). Tuck a handwritten panel into the envelope.
