Paper Mache Purse

This paper mache purse is just right. Not too big, not too small. It comes with a handle, but the handle can be replaced. It can be embellished to look sleek, modern, and minimalistic, or can be rendered to reflect any other theme you think up. This purse is a blank canvas, and is just waiting to be taken someplace that lives in your imagination! Use it for light use out on the town, or as a display piece.

The purse measures approximately 8" x 5" x 3 1/4", and the handle opening diameter is approximately 3/8". Closure is a metal snap, and the existing handle is braided raffia.

Glue French Perfume decoupage paper (5CPPERFUME) to paper mache purse (5DCPURSE) with Borderline rectangular glue stick (5AT-BORDERLINE). Attach Spring Bead Fringe (5FL-BFC501S) to inside of purse flap with Terrifically Tacky Tape or other strong double stick tape. Glue Green Glitter Flowers (5EK-GLITTER - Discontinued) flowers that have been sponged with Rose Madder Ink (5RRROSE) on the edges. Cut Fleur de Lis from decoupage paper with Fleur de Lis Giant Punch. Glue pink rhinestone to the center of each flower and fleur de lis. Cut roses and leaves from Cabbage Rose Flat Paper. Place on the top and back of purse. Glue pink rhinestones to the center of roses. Make purse handle by braiding ivory, pink, and green pearls (5PB-AKGRN - Discontinued & 5PB-AKVIN - Discontinued). Attach to inside of purse with Terrifically Tacky Tape. Glue four small quartz pink flat marbles (5MM55205) to bottom of purse. Paint inside of purse with Lumiere Gold Paint. Attach Paris Clock Button to center of flap with Terrifically Tacky Tape.

Our President loved this purse so much, that she claimed it for her own!
