Transparency Sheets
These transparency
sheets combine text and graphic images to add a wonderful new dimension
to your scrapbook pages. Simply compose your layout, and then layer one
of these sheets over the entire page for a stunning new look. But these
versatile sheets can also be cut apart if you prefer to use them as an
accent on your scrapbook pages, or in an altered book or art journal.
They are great when used to add an accent to a greeting card, too. These
transparencies are archival quality, PVC free, and acid-free.
Tear four strips from a sheet of Celery Floral Wash Paper (5CI-11834). Attach the torn-edge strips, a green strip and a photo to a black panel, as shown. Place the panel inside a Family CD/DVD Transparent Envelope (5CI-10517 - Discontinued). Loop the elastic cord on the envelope around the two white disks. Attach beads to the end of the cord. Stamp Medium Wrought Iron Grille (G1046) repeatedly with Pearl MicaMagic™ Stamp Pad (5CS-70014 - Discontinued) along the edges of a card from Renew Green Box O' Cards from DCWV (5DW-MMCBGREEN - Discontinued). Cut two slits into the top edge of the card. Place the prepared envelope onto the card. Attach four lengths of Celery Script Ribbon (5CI-11895) to the corners of the card, as shown. Attach round and square rhinestones from Black Precious Finds (5EK-SPPF12) to the ribbon and the disks.
Emboss medallion
from Collage Cube on a light green scrap with Copper
Embossing Powder (5ST-DP104). Attach Renewal square from Narratives
- Seasons Epoxy Stickers (5CI-11077 - Discontinued) and trim the edges. Sponge
clear embossing ink into a leaf mold and pour heated embossing powder
into the mold. Let cool and remove from mold. Glue the leaf to the
Renewal square. Apply coordinating metallic rub on’s to the leaf.
Cut out the fall panel from Narratives - Transparency
12x12 Seasons (5CI-11069 - Discontinued). Paint the back side of the leaves with
foil glue and let dry. Apply Mardi Gras foil (Biblical Impressions)
to the leaves. Cut out a panel, slightly smaller than the transparency
panel, from leaf wrapping paper. Tear the edges and sponge with black
ink. Run the torn-edge leaf panel through a Xyron to apply adhesive.
Sprinkle bits of multi-colored foil onto the panel. Attach the leaf
panel to the back of the transparency panel. Attach the prepared panel
to a rectangular panel of Floral Suede Embossed
Brick Red Scrapbook Paper (5KC-633681 - Discontinued)
with Antique Copper Mini Brads (5MA-23538).
Paint a sheet of English Accent Embossed Ivory Scrapbook Paper (5KC-633889 - Discontinued) with Golden
Interference Gold Acrylic (5GO-4040) and let dry. Apply coordinating
metallic rub on’s to the sheet. Fold and cut out a card from
the prepared sheet. Attach the prepared panel to the card. Apply multi-colored
foil to the back of a fall text and a leaf circle. Rub off excess
foil with a soft tissue. Punch a hole in both pieces. Apply foil glue
and multi colored foil to a gold heart charm. Wrap ribbon from Tea
Rose Fibers & Ribbon (5FLTRFIB) around the fold and tie into
a knot on the top of the card. Attach lengths of coordinating fibers
to the heart, leaf circle and text panel. Attach the pieces to the
card with an Antique Copper Decorative Brad (5MA-23740).
Attach three
dog photos to black panels. Edge two panels with a gold pen. Attach
the third panel to a patterned paper panel. Stamp Large
Forever Changed (M4118) on a torn-edge, patterned paper panel.
Sponge the torn-edge of the sentiment panel and a torn-edge text patterned
scrap with black ink. Attach the two pieces to the bottom of the patterned
paper panel. Attach the panel to a black panel. Edge the panel with
the gold pen. Attach the three panels to a Love Transparency
Sheet (5CI-8404). Stamp Forget Me Not
(M4723) repeatedly on a green, patterned paper panel. Layer the
transparency panel with the patterned paper panel to black panel.
Attach the black panel to a green scrapbook page. Attach brass eyelets
to the corners of the page.
Layer a panel
of red card stock onto navy blue card stock. Cut a copy of a vintage
photo to fit in the open section of a Transparent
Tag- Remember (5CI-9358 - Discontinued). Attach with brads or eyelets. Print
out flag image from Celebrate
America CD-ROM (5VW306) onto Inkjet
Vellum (5VW955). Cut out and glue to card using The
BORDERLine™ Rectangular Glue Stick (5AT-BORDERLINE). Attach
tag to card front with Mini Brads-Star-Silver
(5PSBD05). Use stickers to document date "1943" on the
front of card, and embellish with Medium Circle Blank Page Pebbles (5MA-22923 - Discontinued). Stipple with bronze ink to age.
Place a trimmed
photo into a White Time Slide Mount (5CI-9361- Discontinued).
Attach double-stick tape to the slide mount to seal the photo inside.
Cut off the black text border from a Time Transparency Sheet (5CI-8410 - Discontinued). Cut a cream card stock panel, the text border,
and a text panel from the same transparency sheet into the inside dimensions
of a beaded frame. Stamp the words love and cherish from Medium
Honor, Cherish (M4123) randomly with red ink on the cream panel.
Stamp additional word images (sources not given) randomly with red ink
on the cream panel. Sponge gold, red and peach inks on the cream panel.
Attach the border, the text panel and the cream panels together. Wrap
a length of red ribbon from a Red Accent Kit (5PB-AKRED - Discontinued) around the prepared panel and attach the ends to
the back of the panel. Slide the panel into the frame. Paint a Heart
Spiral (5SG-8116) and a love stone with bronze and black Lumiere.
Apply black ink and bronze rub on’s to two text strip stickers,
as shown. Attach the slide mount, the prepared text stickers, the heart
spiral, and the love stone to the panel, as shown. Attach a Photo Turn
to a tag cutout with a silver eyelet. Bend the photo turn to create
a hanger for the tag. Hang the tag on the top portion of the frame.
