Legacy

In September 2002, Stampington & Company® introduced Legacy, an innovative magazine combining today's most popular hobbies.

Devoted to creating family heirlooms for tomorrow, Legacy showcases gorgeous handmade artwork incorporating family photographs, documents and memorabilia. Elegant scrapbook pages, home décor items, journals, wearable art, papercrafts and much more are presented in full-color photographs.

Legacy is destined to attract a broad audience, including arts and crafts enthusiasts, scrapbookers, quilt makers, rubber stampers, genealogy and history buffs, and others interested in preserving their legacy for future generations.

Although we expect the majority of Legacy readers to fall in the 25-to 45-year age category, the magazine's focus on family history makes it attractive to several generations of readers. Included in the market are young mothers looking for an artistic way to preserve and display photographs of their children, 50-plus baby boomers interested in discovering and memorializing their ancestors, and seniors, who will enjoy Legacy's sentimental journeys into the past. Our advertisers reach them all from the pages of this single publication.

Through its informative how-to articles, this quarterly magazine exposes readers to a vast array of products, including archival scrapbook and photo preservation supplies, arts and crafts materials, genealogy research aids and paper products of every kind.

The editorial departments include:

  • Paper Trail: Journaling for Posterity–readers learn how to document their personal histories through art journals using techniques including calligraphy, book making, stamping, and a variety of papercrafts.
  • Reader Invitational-readers are invited to try their hand at a featured project, be it an art journal or a quilted wall hanging. Legacy runs the best of the submissions in a subsequent issue.
  • Heirlooms for Home–articles demonstrate how to incorporate family history into fabric arts such as quilts and pillows, framed artwork and other interior accents.
  • Remembrances–readers recall a person from the past through a special work of art.

Take advantage of this valuable advertising opportunity. Join the Legacy family and discover a whole new generation of customers.
